The movie stars Cruise as Claus von Stauffenberg, he is the leader of the most important resistance groups in Nazi Germany. In the film we see Stauffenberg’s rise from a colonel in the German army in Africa, we also notice his upward hatred for the Nazi regime, the film also provides a report of the weeks leading up to the assassination attempt that took place on 20 July 1944. This movie shows us the planning stages of the attack, we also see the attack itself and later we see the aftermath. The events portrayed in the film are an extremely accurate detailing of the events of the assassination attempt.
